Award-winning poet Martin Figura casts his sharp, satirical eye on life’s trials and tribulations with warmth and humour.
Featuring poems from the popular book of the same title, such as “I Don’t Know Where It All Went Wrong, But My Life’s Turned Into a Tom Waits Song”, Martin gives voice to all middle-aged people who are refusing to grow old gracefully, creating a low-key elegy for an entire generation. Often exuberant, frequently wryly self-deprecating, and creating plenty of laughs for his observations of the modern world, Figura hosts an evening guaranteed to warm the heart and tickle even the most grumpy of rib cages.
Some adult content, recommended 15+
