Artsreach
Artsreach is a registered charity that brings high quality performances of live theatre, music, dance and family shows to the heart of rural communities across Dorset.
Artsreach is dedicated to providing people in rural areas with the opportunity to choose and promote professional arts events in their local venue.
Our performance programme runs through a network of around 50 volunteer promoting groups and together we organise over 140 high quality professional events every year, usually in village halls, right across rural Dorset. Not only do our events provide the opportunity to enjoy high quality arts on your doorstep, they are also a great social occasion!

Carn to Cove
Carn to Cove is Cornwall’s performing arts touring scheme, which brings quality professional artists into rural areas. We fill our wonderfully varied community halls with poetry, laughter, music, drama, stories and dancing. Local people choose the live shows they want to see and hear in their halls. This means we have loads of variety for everyone across Cornwall. Around 125 events take place in 85 community spaces in Cornwall each year.
No venue is too small, no location too remote. The beauty of Carn to Cove is that it gives smaller communities the opportunity to set their sights high. It makes high quality performance affordable by subsidising artist’s fees, and brings the arts straight to the heart of the community, usually within walking distance of peoples’ homes.

Live & Local
Live & Local Ltd. is a not-for-profit organisation helping voluntary promoter groups bring rural communities together to enjoy high-quality, entertaining, affordable and diverse professional live theatre, music, dance and family shows, and touring film screenings, at a wide range of community venues across the Midlands.
Live & Local co-ordinates seven Rural & Community Touring Networks across eight counties (Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire) and three community cinema networks (Big Picture Show Staffordshire and Warwickshire and Moving Pictures Stratford-on-Avon). Through these ventures Live & Local looks to champion and develop great art and culture for everyone, and enhance life quality, civil society and local economies.

Spot On Lancashire
Spot On Lancashire: Rural & Library Touring is a strategic, grassroots arts service run by people who love to support volunteers in isolated communities and in urban library settings. We support people to promote professional theatre, dance, music and children’s shows in their community venues for everyone to enjoy.
The service is supported with government investment by Arts Council England ( as a National Portfolio Organisation, jointly partnered with Cheshire Rural Touring Arts), with additional financial support from Lancashire County Council and four local authorities.

Take Art
Take Art is a unique, life-changing organisation that doesn’t live in an arts venue, dance studio or whacking great theatre but in the villages, towns and rural communities of Somerset. Every year we bring diverse, exciting and empowering arts experiences to thousands of people, no matter their age, inclination or background.
Our work is interdisciplinary and incorporates a wide variety of art forms, settings and age groups. We do however have specialisms within the organisation, which include Rural Touring, Early Years, Dance, Theatre and Project Development. Through these areas of work we deliver a diverse range of projects with a community, educational, health and well-being focus.

Applause Rural Touring
Applause Rural Touring is an Arts Council National Portfolio Organisation based in Tunbridge Wells, a rural touring scheme that supports communities throughout Kent, East Sussex and West Sussex to access professional theatre, music and performing arts.
Working with artists, performing companies and a network of local promoters, Applause Rural Touring takes live performance into the heart of local communities across Kent and Sussex. Familiar local venues and outdoor events are filled with exciting theatre, poetry, music, dance and storytelling for everyone to enjoy. Applause commissions and supports artists and companies to make, produce and tour exciting new work across the region, giving audiences direct access to exceptional arts on their rural doorstep.

Creative Arts East
Creative Arts East is an arts and community development charity committed to bringing the very best arts and cultural activities to rural and/or under-engaged audiences across Norfolk, Suffolk and the wider eastern region.
We aim to use the transformative power of the arts to fight rural and social isolation; broaden horizons and ambitions; increase skills, health and wellbeing; and make a positive difference to the lives of people living in rural communities. We do this by supporting rural residents to run professional live performance and cinema events for their communities, alongside a portfolio of innovative projects which support education, health and wellbeing and skills development.
